Tickets for the February 2010 US tour are on presale now at Emilie’s official site. VIP tickets are still available for some dates, but they will sell out quickly, so get yours now!

EA has just posted a journal entry stating that the fall North American tour dates will be postponed until January 2011 due to the need to have a very important surgery on her jaw. All dates will be rescheduled and more dates will be added to the tour. VIP tickets and regular tickets will still be honored, but those that want a refund can receive one by contacting the site or venue from which they purchased the tickets.

The South American tour dates will be unaffected, as EA will have recovered from her surgery by the time they take place.

Five South American tour dates have been added to the upcoming fall tour. Emilie and the Bloody Crumpets will be visiting Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and Mexico in November. Check the dates page for more information.

The complete listing of dates for The Door segment of Emilie’s tour will be listed on EA’s official site later today at 3 PM. Preorders will apparently be available at this time as well, including preorders for VIP packages for each date. The VIP packages this time will be $75, and will ensure a different concert experience:

For a very small number of people per show, EA is offering what is most definitely the most amazing fan experience yet!

For the price of $75, thirty-five people per show date will have the opportunity to purchase the Asylum VIP Package, elevating you to Official Asylum Inmate status. Inmates will receive:

» 1 hand-signed and numbered limited edition lithograph art print of EA’s “Plague Rat” painting

» 1 admission to a pre-show private “Inmates Only” classical violin concert featuring twenty minutes of live music by Bach and other great composers performed for you by EA

» 1 “Meet & Greet” session with EA, including autograph signing and photo opportunity

» 1 commemorative “Asylum Inmate” concert laminate

» Be the first to try a hot cup of the new Asylum Tea as you listen to the violin performance (feel free to bring your own teacup)

» Permission to remain inside the venue after the VIP session, insuring your prime spot at the front of the stage

Remember, only thirty-five VIP Packages per show are available, and they will sell out immediately, so we suggest you be quick to stake out your spot right here at 3 pm, local time, July 21st, 2010. Even standard tickets are expected to sell out, and all tickets/VIP Packages are sold on a first come/first serve basis.
