North American Tour Postponed
EA has just posted a journal entry stating that the fall North American tour dates will be postponed until January 2011 due to the need to have a very important surgery on her jaw. All dates will be rescheduled and more dates will be added to the tour. VIP tickets and regular tickets will still be honored, but those that want a refund can receive one by contacting the site or venue from which they purchased the tickets.
The South American tour dates will be unaffected, as EA will have recovered from her surgery by the time they take place.

While my heart goes out to Emilie, I am disappointed that I won’t be seeing her in Philadelphia where she was to be the supporting act for Gary Numan. My ticket won’t be good for a rescheduled show because Gary hasn’t cancelled and so far, I am having a devil of a time getting a refund.
It’s also a bit distressing that I am on her mailing list and never received an email regarding her tour cancellation. If I hadn’t checked her website – and this one – I might have driven over 100 miles to see her in October and have been gravely disappointed.
I do wish Emilie a speedy recovery.
If I’m ultimately stuck with a ticket I won’t be using that cost nearly $40 by the time fees were added, I guess it’s a small price to pay for the anticipation of nearly seeing her in concert.
I agree very much with the above comment- She was supposed to be playing on my birthday. Tickets to her concert were really all I wanted, especially since this is my fifteenth birthday- the most important, in my culture. I also wish Emilie the best of luck and a speedy recovery. <3
