The projects section has had some small updates. All of Emilie’s side project pages have been updated, and there is now a page with info about Emilie’s 2001 poetry book, Across the Sky & Other Poems. There are also new pictures in the gallery.

Info on Laced/Unlaced Release

Posted on March 27th, 2007 by solarfacade | Filed under album, news

Johnnie from Trisol was kind enough to post some information about Laced/Unlaced on the official EA forum:

• On A Day is included on Disc I, but it has been professionally remastered so it sounds much better than before!
• Disc I also contains 5 never-before-heard live bonus tracks, which is over 40 minutes of additional music.
• Laced/Unlaced was delayed until March 30, which is the new official release date. Just three days now!
• The different release dates all over the world are caused by the individual outlets.

Hope that clears everything up!

Well, today is Battered Rose’s first birthday! I can’t believe how much the site has grown since last year. Thank you for all your emails, comments, and input. Battered Rose wouldn’t be what it is today without you muffins!

Thanks for a great first year! :)

EA & Steve Vai?

Posted on March 22nd, 2007 by solarfacade | Filed under news, Uncategorized

According to Steve Vai’s official site, he is looking for a violinist to join him for his upcoming tour.

“I’m thinking of having a violin player in the band that can understand how to play like a violin player but still rip it up when necessary. Imagine some of those guitar lines doubled with a violin. That’s pretty strung up!”

Apparently this person has already sent messages to both of them regarding the idea of Emilie touring with Steve. Go here to see what he has to say about it, and then go comment on Emilie’s and Steve’s Myspaces to tell them what you think about it! :)
